The Cannabis Abuse Prevention Program for Young Consumers (CAPPYC) is an initiative supported by the European Commission in response to the call for proposals by the Drug Prevention and Information Programme, with the objective of promoting less cannabis use amongst young people aged between 15 and 18 years old, by directly influencing underlying attitudes towards its use.
CAPPYC has two simultaneous and specific objectives:
On the one hand it aims to learn about young people's opinions regarding cannabis use.
On the other, it offers participation in an essentially educational prevention programme, which aims to change attitudes directly or indirectly favourable towards it use.
